A High Court action involving the charity Console is expected to be heard this afternoon.
Lawyers told the High Court this morning they are currently preparing documents for the case and will return to court this afternoon where it is expected temporary injunctions will be sought.
It is understood the injunctions sought will aim to secure the assets of the charity.
Console and its founder Paul Kelly are engulfed in scandal since the RTÉ Investigations Unit revealed serious concerns about the governance of the charity and a HSE draft report detailing financial mismanagement and alleged fraud.
An interim HSE audit showed that Mr Kelly, his wife Patricia and son Tim, benefited by almost €500,000 in salaries and cars between 2012 and 2014. Read More
